What the UPCS account dashboard is for, how to reach it after signing in, and how it relates to My postcodes and your codes.
Updated 14 October 2026 · 2 min read
When you sign in to UPCS, you get an account dashboard. It is your home base for the things connected to your account, including My postcodes.
How to reach it
- Sign in with your WhatsApp number and a one-time code. See signing in with a WhatsApp number.
- Choose My Account in the account menu in the site header. The dashboard also has a side menu with My Postcodes, Generate Code and Find Location.
If you are not signed in, the dashboard is not available, so sign in first.
What it is for
The dashboard brings together the parts of UPCS that need an account. The main one for most people is My postcodes, where you can find codes connected to your account.
What it does not change
Creating and looking up codes works through the map and the search box on upcs.io. The dashboard does not change how a code is formed; the format stays CC-XXXX-XXXX, covered in understanding the code format.
Staying safe
- Sign out on shared devices. See how to sign out.
- Remember that codes point to exact places, and consider what you share. Account and privacy basics gives guidance.
If you cannot sign in
Check not receiving your one-time code.
Business users
If you manage API keys for a business, you use the partner panel rather than this personal dashboard. Partner account vs personal account explains it.
You can always return to the Help Center for more topics.
