    Not Receiving Your One-Time Code

If your UPCS one-time code does not arrive on WhatsApp, work through these general checks: number, connection, app and timing.

UPCS sends the one-time code to your WhatsApp number. When it does not show up, the cause is usually something simple on the number or the phone.

    Checks to make

    1. Number. Re-enter your WhatsApp number carefully, including the country code. A single wrong digit sends the code to the wrong place.
    2. The right account. The number must be active on WhatsApp on the phone you are checking.
    3. Connection. Make sure your phone has a working internet connection and that WhatsApp can receive messages from others.
    4. WhatsApp itself. Open WhatsApp and look in your chats, including any message requests or archived chats.
    5. Wait briefly. Give it a minute or two before asking for another code.
    6. Request a new code. Use the sign-in screen again (Send WhatsApp Code), and use only the newest code, since an older one may no longer work.

    Entering the code

    • Type the digits exactly as you receive them.
    • Do it quickly; a one-time code is intended for a single, prompt use.

    Still stuck

If nothing arrives after trying a few times, try again later, from another browser or after reloading the page. If you still have trouble, the contact page is the way to reach the team.

You can still use UPCS to find a location from a code while you are signed out.

    Frequently asked questions

How many times should I request a code?

Request a fresh code once after waiting a short while. Repeated requests in a row may make it harder to tell which message is the latest.
