If someone gives you a UPCS code, you can see exactly where it points in a few seconds. There are two ways to look it up.
Method 1: the search box
- Open upcs.io.
- Paste the code into the search box at the top of the site.
- Submit the search to open the lookup page.
Method 2: the site address
Add the code to the address of the site, like this: upcs.io/PK-1A2B-3C4D. This opens the lookup page directly. It is handy when someone sends you a link. See using the direct link.
What the lookup page shows
The page displays the code, the country, the coordinates, and latitude and longitude. It also gives you these actions:
- Open in Map to view the location on a map.
- Get Directions to plan a route to the location.
- Share / Copy link to pass the page on.
- Copy coordinates to use them elsewhere.
Check before you travel
Make sure the country and position look right for what you were told. If the map shows somewhere unexpected, read what to do when a code shows the wrong place and ask the sender to confirm.
