Where the UPCS Map Appears in WooCommerce

The UPCS plugin shows its map on the WooCommerce checkout, right after the billing form. See what customers see and how to add it elsewhere.

With the UPCS plugin active and a working API key, the WooCommerce checkout shows a map directly after the billing form. Customers pick their exact delivery spot on it, and UPCS generates a code for that location.

    What the customer sees

    1. They fill in the usual billing details.
    2. Below the billing form, the UPCS map appears.
    3. They choose the exact spot on the map. The grid becomes visible from zoom 18, which is where a precise point can be chosen.
    4. UPCS shows the code for that cell, in the format CC-XXXX-XXXX, for example PK-1A2B-3C4D.
    5. They place the order, and the code, latitude and longitude are saved with it. See what is saved with orders.

    What you need

If the map does not show

    1. Make sure WooCommerce is active and that you are using the classic checkout form; the checkout map depends on it.
    2. Open Settings, then UPCS Map, and run Test API Connection.
    3. Clear any page or checkout caching plugin, then reload the checkout.
    4. Check the browser for blocked scripts, which may come from a security or privacy plugin.

Show the map on other pages

The checkout map is only one placement. The [upcs_map] shortcode lets you place a map on any page or post; see the shortcode attributes for height and zoom.

    Other platforms

If your store is not on WordPress, the same idea is available for PrestaShop and OpenCart.
