    PrestaShop Manual Widget and Saved Locations

    Place the UPCS map exactly where you want it in a PrestaShop theme with the upcsmap widget, and find the saved location on each order.

    If the module's standard display positions do not fit your theme, you can place the map yourself. This page also shows where to find a customer's chosen location after an order is placed.

    Place the map with the widget

    The module provides a widget named upcsmap. Add this to the theme template where you want the map to appear:

    {widget name='upcsmap'}

    Steps:

    1. Install and configure the module with a working API key.
    2. Open the template file for the page section where the map belongs, such as a checkout step in your theme.
    3. Add the widget line shown above.
    4. Set Display position to Manual only, clear the PrestaShop cache and reload the page.

    Work in a child theme or copy where possible so a theme update does not overwrite your change.

    Where locations are stored

    When the "Link location to order" option is on, the chosen location is attached to the order. In the back office, open the order and look for the "UPCS Delivery Location" card. It shows the location that the customer picked on the map, including the UPCS code, so your team and couriers can use it.

    A table of saved locations is also shown under the module settings. If the card is missing from an order:

    1. Check that Link location to order was enabled before the order was placed.
    2. Confirm the customer chose a location on the map and ticked the link option at checkout.
    3. Check that the API key is active.

    Using the code

    The code is a complement to the written address, not a replacement. To check where it points, paste it into the search box on the upcs.io home page; the result offers Open in Map and Get Directions.
