Using UPCS codes
Add a UPCS Code to an Order or Address Note
Put your UPCS code in the note or address line 2 field when ordering online so the seller and courier can find the exact spot.

Many online shops have a delivery note or an extra address line. That is a good place for a UPCS code, because it travels with the order and the person delivering it can look it up.
Steps
- Generate the code for your delivery spot by choosing it on the map at upcs.io, and copy it. See generating your first code.
- At checkout, enter your normal address and postcode as usual.
- Find a free-text field such as a delivery note, instructions or an additional address line.
- Paste the code, keeping the hyphens, for example
PK-1A2B-3C4D. - Consider adding the share link too, so anyone reading the note can open it in one step:
upcs.io/PK-1A2B-3C4D.
A good note looks like this
A short note is best. For example: "Deliver to the side gate. UPCS code PK-1A2B-3C4D." The code does the precise work, and the words give context a map cannot.
Things to keep in mind
- Do not remove or replace your real address. A UPCS code is not an official postal code.
- Check the code on the lookup page before you paste it. Verifying a code explains the steps, which also work for your own code.
- If the note field has a character limit, use the code on its own, then add the link elsewhere if possible.
For sellers using the plugins
Some stores can collect a UPCS location automatically with a plugin. That is separate from this page; it is for customers writing a code by hand.

Where should I put the code if there is no note field?
Use any free-text field that accompanies the address, such as an additional address line, and include the full code with its hyphens.
