The share link opens the lookup page of a code. It is the easiest thing to send, because the recipient needs only to open it.

    Steps

    1. Create a code on the map or look up an existing one with the search box on upcs.io.
    2. On the lookup page, find the Share / Copy link action.
    3. Choose it to copy the link.
    4. Paste the link into a message, email or note.
    • It saves the recipient from typing or copying characters correctly.
    • It opens straight to the page with Open in Map and Get Directions.
    • It cannot be mistyped the way a hand-written code can.

If you only need the plain code, copy that instead; both methods are explained in how to share a UPCS code.

The link is the site address with the code added. If your code is PK-1A2B-3C4D, the address is upcs.io/PK-1A2B-3C4D. Read using the direct link for more.

    Check before sending

Open the link yourself first. Confirm the country and the spot on the map are what you intended, using checking you chose the right spot.

    Privacy

Anyone who has the link can see the location. Send it only to people who should have it. Privacy basics explains what a code reveals.
