WooCommerce Checkout Map Not Showing

The UPCS plugin adds a map after the WooCommerce billing form at checkout. If you cannot see it, the cause is usually configuration, caching or a theme that changes the checkout.

Symptom

The checkout loads but there is no UPCS map, or the area is empty.

Likely causes

• The plugin is not activated, or WooCommerce is not active.
• The API key is missing or rejected.
• A caching or optimisation plugin serves an old checkout or blocks the script.
• The theme or a checkout builder replaces the standard billing form, so the hook position is not used.

Fix it step by step

1. In WordPress, confirm both UPCS and WooCommerce are active, and that you use the classic checkout form. WooCommerce is only needed for the checkout map.
2. Go to Settings, then UPCS Map, and run Test API Connection. If it fails, follow Test API Connection fails.
3. Clear all caches: caching plugin, server cache, CDN and browser. Exclude the checkout page from caching.
4. Temporarily switch to a default theme to see if the theme is hiding it.
5. Check the browser console for blocked scripts or mixed-content warnings. The site must use https.
6. If your checkout does not use the standard billing form, place the map yourself with the [upcs_map] shortcode. Optional attributes are height="600px" and zoom="6".
7. Check that your site's https address is registered in Allowed origins. See origin_not_allowed.

Confirm it is fixed

Place a test order. The map appears after the billing form, and the order shows the saved UPCS code, latitude and longitude as meta.

If the map still does not appear, contact support with your WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce and plugin versions and the active theme name.
