Mobile stylists, therapists and trainers visit clients at home. Learn how a UPCS code takes them straight to the right door, on time and unstressed.

Mobile beauty and wellness work is built on trust and punctuality. A makeup artist, massage therapist, hairdresser or personal trainer carries equipment, runs a tight schedule and cannot afford twenty minutes circling a street. Clients, in turn, often live in buildings with unclear doors, courtyards or shared gates.

A UPCS code lets the client send the exact place. It takes the practitioner to the exact spot that was picked, a 3 m x 3 m square, so there is no back-and-forth of "the green door, next to the pharmacy". It complements the home address the client already gives for the booking.

    A smoother booking flow

    1. At booking, ask the client to open the map on upcs.io, pick their entrance and send the code or link.
    2. The practitioner opens it and sees the point, with Get Directions available.
    3. For the next visit, the same code is reused; it never changes for the same place.

This reduces late arrivals and the awkward phone calls that interrupt a service already in progress.

    Privacy and safety

Because the code leads to a real home, handle it with care. Share it only with the person you booked. Clients can use a gate or building entrance rather than their personal door if they prefer. Practitioners should keep codes out of public posts and shared group chats, and delete old ones when they are no longer needed.

For salons and studios that dispatch

If you run a small business with several practitioners, keep a simple job sheet: client name, time, code. Dispatch is then a matter of messaging each practitioner their next code. Booking sites can use the embeddable map so the client chooses the point while booking, and WordPress/WooCommerce shops can attach it to orders through the plugin.

    Practical tips

    • Ask for the entrance code, plus a floor or flat number as a normal text note.
    • Encourage clients to zoom in and pick the door itself.
    • Keep a private list of regular clients and their codes, protected like any contact list.
    • Add the code to the calendar event so it is there on the day.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the practitioner need to install anything? No. The link opens in a browser.

What if the client lives in a high-rise? The code gets the practitioner to the building entrance; the floor and flat number still go in the booking notes.

    Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to share a home location code?

A code reveals the place it points to, so share it only with the provider you booked, and use a meeting point such as a gate if you prefer.

Can a client create the code themselves?

Yes. They pick their door on the map at upcs.io and send you the code or link.
