How to Create a UPCS Partner Account

A partner account is the business side of UPCS. It gives you a panel where you create API keys and register the websites that are allowed to show the UPCS map. Without one you cannot use the WordPress, PrestaShop or OpenCart plugins, or the embeddable map and REST API.

Before you start

You will need:

• A work email address and a password of at least 8 characters, with letters and numbers.
• The name of your business or store.
• The address of the website or store where you plan to use UPCS. You will register it later as an allowed origin.

Create the account

1. Go to the partner page on upcs.io.
2. Fill in the account form: your name, work email, business or store name, password and password confirmation. Store website, phone or WhatsApp number, two-letter country code and a short description of how you will use UPCS are optional.
3. Choose your platform from the list: WordPress / WooCommerce, PrestaShop, OpenCart or Custom website / app.
4. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then choose Create partner account.
5. When registration finishes, you are taken to the partner panel, where your first API key has already been created.

A partner account has its own email and password. It is separate from the WhatsApp sign-in used for a personal account.

What to do next

Once the account exists, set up access in this order:

1. Generate an API key.
2. Register your site as an allowed origin if you will use the embeddable map.
3. Install a plugin, or follow the embed quick start for a custom site.

If you cannot sign in

Partner sign-in is on its own page, reached with the Sign in link on the partner page, and uses the email address and password you registered with. Check for typing mistakes in both. If you still cannot get in, use the contact page.
